WASHINGTON, Aug. 7 -- The U.S. Department of Justice, through its Bureau of Justice Assistance, has announced the BJA FY 2025 Forensic Ballistics and Higher Education Program. This funding opportunity enables public and state-controlled educational organizations to collaborate with local law enforcement and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives to enhance or develop specialized curricula focusing on forensic education in firearm ballistics and crime gun intelligence.
