WASHINGTON, Aug. 5 -- The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, through the Centers for Disease Control, has announced a funding opportunity aimed at enhancing Senegal's public health infrastructure. The initiative, titled Expanding Global Health Security through Local Partnerships in Senegal, will distribute an estimated total funding of $5 million to support the prevention, detection, and response to infectious disease threats.
