WASHINGTON, July 31 -- The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, through the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response, has unveiled a grant opportunity aimed at enhancing pediatric disaster care capabilities across the nation. The Pediatric Disaster Care Centers of Excellence Program Cooperative Agreement will provide an estimated total funding of $4.8 million, distributing grants to a projected four awardees.
