WASHINGTON, July 16 -- The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, through the Centers for Disease Control, is opening a funding opportunity aimed at enhancing outbreak detection and response systems in partner countries. This initiative, titled Advancing Outbreak Detection, Notification, and Response Capacity by Implementing 7-1-7 in Partner Countries, supports the implementation of the 7-1-7 target, which focuses on improving the identification and management of biological threats.
