WASHINGTON, July 2 -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security - FEMA has announced the availability of funding through its Fiscal Year 2026 Intercity Passenger Rail (IPR) Program. This initiative, which has an award ceiling of $9.5 million, is aimed exclusively at Amtrak, a federally chartered corporation responsible for passenger rail service.
