WASHINGTON, June 8 -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security - FEMA has unveiled the State Border Security Reinforcement Fund (SBSRF), backed by an impressive estimated total funding amount of $9,985.4 million. This initiative, authorized by the One Big Beautiful Bill Act of 2025 (Public Law 119-21), aims to bolster border security at both state and local levels in response to evolving challenges.
