WASHINGTON, May 20 -- The Reactors at Risk Act, originally introduced by Sen. Edward J. Markey, D-MA, on May 12, 2026, has been analyzed by the Congressional Research Service. The proposed legislation seeks to assess the dangers posed by nuclear reactors located in regions susceptible to armed conflict and to outline measures to mitigate these risks.
