WASHINGTON, April 11 -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security Transportation Security Administration proposed budget for fiscal year 2027 provides approximately $10.5 billion in total funding for operations and support, reflecting a continued federal commitment to securing the Nation's transportation systems. Due to offsetting collections--primarily from passenger security fees--the net discretionary appropriation from the general fund is estimated at approximately $5.8 billion.
