WASHINGTON, April 4 -- The U.S. Department of State, through the U.S. Mission to Burundi, has announced the Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund (AEIF) 2026, aimed at empowering alumni of U.S. government-sponsored exchange programs to implement projects that address local challenges in Burundi. This initiative encourages creative and impactful solutions led by former participants, fostering connections among alumni to strengthen community relationships.
