WASHINGTON, April 5 -- Sen. Angela D. Alsobrooks, D-MD, has introduced the Extending WIC for New Moms Act, aimed at enhancing the nutritional support provided to new mothers through the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC).
