WASHINGTON, April 2 -- The U.S. Department of Defense, through its DARPA - Defense Sciences Office, has launched an initiative to advance the science and technology of turbulent systems. The grant, titled Automated Discovery for Design and Control of Turbulent Systems (AutoDIDACTS), seeks innovative proposals that leverage advanced computational techniques to enhance understanding and control of turbulent flows, which are critical in various military applications including propulsion and environ . . .
