WASHINGTON, April 2 -- The U.S. Government, through AmeriCorps, has announced the Fiscal Year (FY) 2026 AmeriCorps Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service grant opportunity, aiming to support community service projects across the nation. This initiative is designed to honor the legacy of Dr. King by encouraging organizations to develop service projects that address pressing social issues, foster civic engagement, and strengthen community bonds.
