WASHINGTON, March 27 -- Sen. Peter Welch, D-VT, has introduced the Justice for Hind Rajab Act, aiming to hold accountable those responsible for the deaths of innocent civilians, including five-year-old Hind Rajab and two paramedics, during an attack by the Israel Defense Forces in Gaza City on January 29, 2024. The legislation requires the Secretary of State to investigate the incident and report findings to Congress, addressing potential violations of human rights and international law.
