WASHINGTON, March 27 -- Sen. Tim Sheehy, R-MT, has introduced the Responder and Recovery Safety in EV Fires Act, aimed at establishing a dedicated working group to develop guidance and best practices for responding to electric vehicle (EV) fires. This initiative addresses the rising concerns regarding fire hazards associated with the increasing adoption of EVs on public roads.
As the popularity of electric vehicles continues to grow, so does the need for effective emergency response . . .
