WASHINGTON, March 27 -- Sen. John Cornyn, R-TX, has introduced the Stop Somali CASH Fraud Act, a legislative measure aimed at enhancing the oversight of monetary instruments and currency leaving the United States, particularly concerning certain high-risk countries. The proposed bill seeks to amend section 5316 of title 31 of the U.S. Code to require detailed reporting on monetary instruments transported by nationals from countries identified as state sponsors of terrorism or high-risk nations.< . . .
