WASHINGTON, March 22 -- Sen. Richard Blumenthal, D-CT, has introduced the Prediction Markets Security and Integrity Act aimed at establishing national safeguards for online prediction markets to prevent fraud, protect consumers, and restrict access for underage users. This legislation seeks to enhance oversight by returning regulatory authority over these markets to individual states.
