Jim Banks, R-IN, has introduced the Health Care for Homeless Veterans Act, aiming to secure permanent authority for the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to provide essential treatment and rehabilitation for seriously mentally ill and homeless veterans. This legislation addresses the pressing needs of this vulnerable population.
