WASHINGTON, March 21 -- Sen. Ted Budd, R-NC, has introduced the Securing Infrastructure from Adversaries Act of 2026, aimed at prohibiting the Secretary of Transportation from engaging with entities that utilize light detection and ranging (LiDAR) technology sourced from designated foreign companies.
