WASHINGTON, March 21 -- The U.S. Department of Justice, through its Bureau of Justice Assistance, has announced the FY25 John R. Justice (JRJ) Formula Grant Program, aimed at providing financial relief for local and state prosecutors as well as public defenders. This funding opportunity allows states to offer loan repayment assistance to individuals who commit to a sustained career in public defense and prosecution.
