WASHINGTON, March 17 -- The U.S. Department of the Interior, through its Office of Insular Affairs (OIA), has announced the launch of the FY 2026 Energizing Insular Communities (EIC) Program. This initiative is designed to promote the use of domestically produced energy in U.S. territories, thereby enhancing economic and national security while supporting military preparedness.
With an award ceiling of $15 million and an estimated total funding amount of $15 million, the EIC program . . .
