WASHINGTON, March 16 -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture, through its Electronic Research Administration, has launched the Organic Agriculture Research and Extension Initiative (OREI) to bolster research projects that incorporate extension and education components in the organic farming sector. With an award range spanning from $50,000 to $3.5 million, the initiative aims to enhance the sustainability and profitability of organic agriculture while addressing key challenges faced by farmers.
