WASHINGTON, March 7 -- The U.S. Department of the Interior, through its Bureau of Reclamation, has announced the WaterSMART Drought Response Program, aimed at promoting water conservation across the United States. This program is specifically designed to assist local, state, and tribal governments in their efforts to prepare for and respond to drought conditions, facilitating more sustainable water management practices.
