WASHINGTON, Feb. 8 -- The U.S. Department of Defense, through the Dept of the Army -- Materiel Command, has unveiled a funding opportunity aimed at enhancing research capabilities at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and other minority-serving institutions. The initiative, titled Pilot Program to Increase Research Capacity, seeks to fortify the academic infrastructure and foster innovation within these educational establishments.
