WASHINGTON, Feb. 5 -- Sen. Jeanne Shaheen, D-NH, has introduced the Better Care for PFAS Patients Act of 2026, aimed at establishing a framework for the periodic issuance of clinical guidance addressing the health effects of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). This legislation seeks to enhance public health initiatives in response to growing concerns over PFAS exposure, which has been linked to various health issues.
