WASHINGTON, Feb. 5 -- Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-SC, has introduced the Disaster Zone Energy Affordability and Investment Act, which aims to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986. The legislation allows certain taxpayers affected by federally declared disasters to transfer portions of their general business credit carryforwards, providing them greater financial latitude in the wake of calamities.
