WASHINGTON, Feb. 3 -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has launched a funding opportunity aimed at land grant colleges, non-land grant colleges of agriculture, and 1994 Institutions to develop essential training programs for pesticide registrants as part of the Pesticide Registration Improvement Act (PRIA). With an award ceiling of $200,000, the EPA plans to allocate the entire estimated funding of $200,000 to support this initiative.
