WASHINGTON, Feb. 3 -- The Environmental Protection Agency has unveiled a grant opportunity titled Wildfire Smoke Preparedness in Community Buildings, aimed at enhancing public health measures against the dangers of wildfire smoke exposure. With an anticipated total funding of $13.6 million, the program seeks to award up to $2.5 million for each of the expected 11 projects.
Eligible applicants include states, federally recognized Tribes, public pre-schools, local educational agencies . . .
