WASHINGTON, Feb. 3 -- The U.S. Department of Transportation, through the Federal Railroad Administration, has unveiled a grant opportunity aimed at enhancing rail operations along the Northeast Corridor. The initiative, titled the FY26 Northeast Corridor Commission (NECC) Project, offers an award ceiling of $10.0 million, with a total estimated funding of the same amount.
Amtrak is the sole eligible applicant for this grant, which seeks to support the objectives outlined in the Pass . . .
