WASHINGTON, Jan. 24 -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), has unveiled a substantial grant opportunity aimed at addressing the pressing threat of New World screwworm (NWS). This initiative, titled the New World Screwworm Grand Challenge, is set to allocate up to $100 million across 20 awards, each capped at $5 million.
