WASHINGTON, Jan. 24 -- Sen. Alex Padilla, D-CA, has introduced the NCUA Central Liquidity Facility Enhancements Act, aimed at expanding the membership capabilities of credit unions within the National Credit Union Administration's Central Liquidity Facility (CLF). The proposed bill seeks to amend the Federal Credit Union Act, providing new avenues for credit unions to join the CLF as Agent members.
