WASHINGTON, Dec. 24 -- Sen. Kirsten E. Gillibrand, D-NY, has introduced the Strategic Plan for Aging Act, aimed at amending the Older Americans Act of 1965 to facilitate the creation and implementation of comprehensive Multisector Plans for Aging and Aging with a Disability. This legislation will empower states, Indian tribes, and tribal organizations to develop coordinated strategies to address the diverse needs of older individuals and those with disabilities.
