WASHINGTON, Nov. 22 -- The U.S. Department of the Interior, through the National Park Service, has announced grant funding opportunities for the Archeological Inventory Survey of Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument (FLFO), Phase 2. This initiative aims to enhance the understanding and preservation of Florida's rich prehistoric resources by encouraging applicants to conduct detailed archaeological assessments within the park.
