WASHINGTON, Nov. 22 -- The Environmental Protection Agency is making available $20 million to support approximately 20 cooperative agreements under its Brownfield Multipurpose Grant Program. This funding initiative aims to facilitate a range of assessment and cleanup activities at brownfield sites across the United States, enabling communities to reclaim contaminated lands.
