WASHINGTON, Nov. 6 -- Sen. Steve Daines, R-MT, has introduced the Relief of Chronic Pain Act of 2025, aimed at enhancing access to non-opioid pain management therapies for individuals suffering from chronic pain conditions under Medicare Part D.
The bill seeks to amend the Social Security Act to ensure that qualifying non-opioid chronic pain management drugs are covered without the burden of deductibles. Beginning January 1, 2026, the legislation mandates that these drugs be placed . . .
