WASHINGTON, Nov. 2 -- The U.S. Department of Transportation, through the Federal Railroad Administration, has announced an $8.2 million grant opportunity for the FY24 Port of Rosedale Multimodal Expansion: Great River Railroad Restoration Project. This initiative aims to restore critical functions to the Great River Railroad, which connects the Port of Rosedale to the Columbus and Greenville Railroad (CAGY) in Metcalf, MS.
