WASHINGTON, Oct. 25 -- Sen. Ted Cruz, R-TX, has introduced a bill aimed at allowing visiting dignitaries and service members from Taiwan to display the flag of the Republic of China during official engagements in the United States. The legislation seeks to recognize the sovereignty of Taiwan while strengthening diplomatic ties between the U.S. and the island nation.
