WASHINGTON, Oct. 25 -- Sen. Tom Cotton, R-AR, has introduced the American Medicine Safety and Security Act, aimed at improving the safety and security of drugs and medical devices regulated by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The bill seeks to impose stringent employment conditions for individuals working in or with the FDA, particularly concerning foreign nationals.
The legislation establishes that no individual from designated foreign countries of concern-specifically China . . .
