WASHINGTON, Oct. 17 -- The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, through the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), has announced an opportunity aimed at enhancing integrated care in behavioral health settings. The Innovation in Behavioral Health (IBH) Model, a voluntary service delivery and payment model, is now open to state Medicaid agencies (SMAs) seeking to address the needs of adults with moderate to severe mental health conditions and substance use disorders.
