WASHINGTON, Oct. 4 -- The U.S. Department of Energy, through its Golden Field Office, has launched the Restoring Reliability: Coal Recommissioning and Modernization grant program aimed at revitalizing coal-fired power plants. This initiative is designed to support projects that enhance reliability, efficiency, and sustainability in coal energy production, specifically targeting the recommissioning and modernization of existing facilities.
