WASHINGTON, Oct. 3 -- Sen. Tammy Baldwin, D-WI, has introduced the 988 LGBTQ+ Youth Access Act of 2025, aimed at enhancing support for LGBTQ+ youth who seek assistance through the 9-8-8 suicide prevention hotline. This legislation will direct the Secretary of Health and Human Services to allocate sufficient resources to establish specialized services tailored to the unique needs of LGBTQ+ adolescents in crisis.
