WASHINGTON, Sept. 28 -- The U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF) has unveiled its latest initiative, the Accelerating Research Translation (ART) program, aimed at enhancing the transfer of academic discoveries into practical applications that serve the public. With an impressive estimated total funding of $178 million, the program seeks to establish robust translational research ecosystems in Institutions of Higher Education (IHEs) nationwide.
