WASHINGTON, Sept. 18 -- Sen. Elissa Slotkin, D-MI, has introduced the Federal Firefighter Cancer Detection and Prevention Act aimed at requiring the Secretary of Defense to provide comprehensive medical testing and related services for Department of Defense firefighters to detect and prevent certain cancers.
