WASHINGTON, Sept. 16 -- Sen. Kirsten E. Gillibrand, D-NY, has introduced the 9/11 Memorial and Museum Act, aimed at providing a one-time grant to support the operation, security, and maintenance of the National September 11 Memorial & Museum at the World Trade Center. This legislation seeks to ensure that the memorial continues to honor the victims and educate future generations about the tragic events of September 11, 2001.
