WASHINGTON, Sept. 16 -- The Early Participation in Regulations Act of 2025 (S. 77), introduced by Sen. James Lankford, R-OK, on January 13, 2025, has been analyzed by the Congressional Research Service. This bill aims to enhance public engagement in the regulatory process by requiring federal agencies to provide advance notice of proposed rulemaking for major regulations.
