WASHINGTON, Sept. 16 -- The Justice for Jocelyn Act (S. 72), introduced by Sen. Ted Cruz, R-TX, on January 13, 2025, has been analyzed by the Congressional Research Service. This legislation aims to tighten regulations surrounding the Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) Alternatives to Detention program, specifically targeting the supervision of non-U.S. nationals facing removal from the country.
