WASHINGTON, Sept. 16 -- Supporting All Producers Act (S. 56), introduced by Sen. Peter Welch, D-VT, on January 9, 2025, has been analyzed by the Congressional Research Service. This legislation aims to enhance the Maple industry by directing the Department of Agriculture (USDA) to consult with stakeholders to determine their research and educational needs, thereby ensuring these priorities guide program grants under the Acer Access and Development Program.
