WASHINGTON, Sept. 1 -- The U.S. Department of the Interior, through its Fish and Wildlife Service, has opened applications for the Fiscal Year 2026 Boating Infrastructure Grant (BIG) Tier 1 program, with an estimated total funding of $4 million. This initiative aims to support eligible agencies in maintaining, renovating, and constructing boating facilities that cater to transient recreational vessels of at least 26 feet in length.
