WASHINGTON, Aug. 28 -- The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, through the National Institutes of Health, has announced a funding opportunity aimed at stimulating access to research in residency programs. The Stimulating Access to Research in Residency (StARR) initiative invites proposals that seek to integrate research experiences into the training of medical residents, allowing them to gain valuable skills and competencies in a clinical research environment.
