WASHINGTON, Aug. 28 -- The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, through the National Institutes of Health, has launched a funding opportunity aimed at bolstering research into vaccines for Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb) infection and tuberculosis disease. The grant, titled Partnerships for Development of Vaccines to Prevent Mycobacterium tuberculosis Infection and/or Disease (R01 Clinical Trial Not Allowed), has an award ceiling of $750,000.
