WASHINGTON, Aug. 23 -- The Urosurgical Center of Richmond has issued a public comment letter to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, advocating for the removal of certain quality measures from the Ambulatory Surgical Center Quality Reporting Program. The proposed changes mainly concern the removal of ASC-20, ASC-22, ASC-23, and ASC-24 measures, which the center describes as burdensome and inappropriate for the outpatient surgical setting.
